To Daniel,
You don't need to submit the fingerprint. They will schedule you to the fingerprint with they accept your application.

I am about to submit my I-751 to remove my conditions. My wife and I have everything ready. We live in the country and our relationship is super simple and easy to prove. We love each other, I work as a youth pastor and she stays at home, and we're expecting our first child.

The only question I have is concerning fingerprints. According to the instructions on I-751 I need to submit a 2 FD-258 fingerprint forms with my application. But according to the uscis website I do NOT need to send it in. I get vague answers on the instructions and from their operators when I call uscis.

Has anyone applied recently and know what I need to do? Do I or do I not need to file FD-258 along with my I-751?

Thank you!!!

Hi guys how's it going?
I filed I-751 in february ,got the fingerprints done in march ....in august the sent me a letter asking me for some more documents because according to them I didn't have enough documents to prove that me and my wife are still together so I sent them a bunch of them .After a month I was approved and a few days later I got my new green card in mail.I was so happy but I noticed a mistake in the gc .I've been a resident since 04/12/09 ( shown in the temporary gc also ) but in the new gc it says 04/20/09.( 8 days between)Does anybody know what Im supposed to do ?Should I fill the I-90 and send back the new green card or is not a big deal?In january 2012 I will be eligible to apply for naturalization ...Which date should I put on the paperworks ?

Hi Everyone.

I just wanted to give an update for everyone that's still waiting.
After exactly 9 months since filing I-751 I received my approval letter!

Here is my timeline:

02/15/11 – I-751 mailed to Vermont
02/17/11 – I-751 Receipt Notice with 1year extension; Check was cashed around the same time
03/04/11 – ASC Appointment Notice (Biometrics Letter)
03/31/11 – Biometrics Process done
10/13/11 - GC (10yrs) approved and should receive the card within the next 60 days!

We were not called to an interview. Everything went smoothly but took quite a while.

Good luck to you!

My husband and I are in the process of filling the I-751, we have:
- the sworn affidavit from 2 friends
- the birth certificate of our son,
- the car registration for our 3 cars showing join ownership
- Bank account statement
- Lease since we are married
- Joint tax return forms since we have been married
- Copies of all our credit cards showing thesame number
- Airline boarding pass for our vacation
- pictures, several picture
I just want to know if this are enough supporting evidence. After we send this documents, what should we be expecting in the mail?

Thanks you
