Thanks everyone :) I love languages, but writing in them (especially on a blog, with all the layout and technical work involved) just wasn't efficient.

For now, I keep up my Spanish with my husband and his family and by reading Harry Potter books, and my Chinese with my dad. I really ought to read more in Mandarin, but my skills have fallen far since their peak in grad school :(

Congratulations!

I just went through the tough part (or still am in the middle of it). Started my own blog a bit more than a month ago in my native language, German, that is. Took me only two weeks or so to switch to Bilingual and then to English only. Way too much work, as you said.

I hope I can keep it up and experience a growth (both personal and in writing skills) as you did. Good work, I like reading your blog very much!

Congratulations! Hope you didn't entirely give up your foreign languages considering how much time this blog may take you.
